Urban Decay NAKED Palette 2- Review

Urban Decay is one of the top selling makeup products the world has seen. The first Naked palette from Urban Decay was sold out for months, and became the worlds best selling eyeshadow palette of all time. The Urban Decay Naked palette 2 has been highly anticipated by many that are hooked on the makeup world. Now that it's finally out and I got lucky enough to get my Naked palette 2 from a wonderful friend :)! Kisses to Juliana Almeida my porcelain doll that I love with all my heart! Thank you so much love!!! :)

The first four shades: Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall and Chopper are warm colors, the next four shades: Tease, Snakebite, Suspect and Pistol are neutral colors and the last four are cooler shades.
The matte shades are: Foxy, Tease, and Blackout and the shimmery shades are: Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, and Busted.

FOXY: Great to use on the brow bone or the inner corners of your eyes.
HALF BAKED: Beautiful golden color that can go for an everyday work look.
BOOTYCALL: Silly name but lovely color, use it on the inner corners of your eyes to brighten them up!
CHOPPER: Lovely coppery color with some silver. This would look lovely with the bootycall as a natural smokey eye effect! ;)
TEASE: For an everyday natural look. Looks fantastic with green eyes!
SNAKEBITE: I hate Snakes!! Oh my I can't even type the name... But anyways the color is AMAIZING I use it mostly with the YDK for my everyday work makeup look.

SUSPECT: Stunnig golden brown goes well with anything.
PISTOL: Must have silvery color can top any smokey eye. Using this with the blackout can give you a lovely night look.
VERVE: Light highlighting color. This is also nice for the inner corners of the eye for a pop.
YDK: Personally my favorite of the palette. A cool shimmery bronze goes with anything.
BUSTED: In Love! Dark shimmery plummy brown also great for a smokey eye effect!
BLACKOUT: Finally! This palettes star. Lovely for any night going out look. Just be careful this can get messy ;)!

                                                            Suspect/ Pistol/ Verve/ YDK/ Busted/ Blackout

The palette also comes with a mini Lip Junkie Lipgloss in the pinky-brown shade Naked which cools and pumps your lips and a full size shadow/crease brush. What I don't like about the Naked palette 2 is that it didn't come with the Urban Decay Primer. The primer is in my opinion the best primer out there and it's a must have!

Urban Decay NAKED 2- Full size shadown and crease brush

This palette is amazing to take on the go if you are traveling. I wish I could fit it inside my purse everyday for touch ups! But WAIT... Urban Decay thinks of everything, they have already come out with the mini naked palette called: Urban Decay NAKED BASICS!!!

Also a must have! I am in love with these eyeshadow. If you don't want to go to an extreme and spend $50 with the Naked palette 1 or 2 when you are just starting with your makeup routines then go for this BASICS palette, it will do you wonders.

Here on my blog today I will show you the most popular brushes, which part of the face it is used for, how to use them and of course how to clean them! CLEANING YOUR BRUSHES:

Now comes the important part; cleaning your brushes. Cleaning your brush is very important because you don't want to mix all of the products and leave it in there for a while because then you will have to buy new brushes almost every year. With time the brushes will start loosing it's function. Not cleaning will make your brushes rough and dry. Here is a simple way to clean your brushes at home.
  1. Gently run your make-up brushes under lukewarm water. Swish them around in the sink until the water runs clear. Hold the brush under the water with the handle pointing up so that you don't irreparably damage the brush.
  2. Add a small amount of mild shampoo or soap to the palm of your hard and swish your brush around in your hand and then under the water. Keep in mind that natural bristle brushes need gentler soaps.
  3. Rinse your hand and the brush thoroughly, then wring out the water from the brush's tip. To retain the shape of the brush hair, gently squeeze to remove all traces of soap and water and place them so they can dry flat on a clean dry towel.

For those who don't like to use shampoo or soap can buy a brush cleanser such as:

Review on Mac's Fix +!

Fix+ by Mac is one of the things I can not live without. This 100ml spray bottle has magic inside or something! It is a liquid with vitamins and minerals that makes the skin smooth and awake! This spray works for before and after the make up. It has a blend of green tea, chamomile, cucumber, topped with the fresh, natural, energizing scent of Sugi. This spray is a must have it adds radiance to the makeup look. It's like the skin knows its great for it and drinks it all up! On the back of the box states:"A soothing moisture mist that refreshes the skin and finished makeup. Hold bottle 12"away from face and spray evenly. Use before or after makeup."

The Fix+ can be used in many different ways.

First- It can be used to refresh your face. With the Fix + Vitamins your face will look smooth and awake!

Mac's Fix+ Spray $22.00

Second- It could be sprayed after you add mineral powder to help the "powdery effect" seem more natural; the spray makes the product be sucked in and not make it sit on top of your face.

Third- You could spray Fix + with your loose pigments. It would make your life so much easier to pick up the loose pigments with your brush and not have it falling all over your face.

Natura loose pigment- Nude          Top color with Fix+

Fourth- Make baked eyeshadow more vibrant.

Mac eyeshadow- Knight Divine             Top color with Fix+

Fifth- Use it to dilute your concealer or foundation; some concealers or foundation come more on the thicker side and this helps you apply it with your brush and makes it way easier. And last but not least

Maybelline Liquid Foundation

Sixth- You can use it to help slightly thin out thicker, creamier products.
