URBAN DECAY VICE 2 PALETTE REVIEW!

Hey my beautiful Bella's! It's been more then one week without a post and I already miss posting for you guys :)! Well time is going by super fast...it's almost Christmas can you believe it? Today I am her to give you guys a little review for the URBAN DECAY VICE 2 PALETTE. Super exciting and totally addicted to this beautiful palette. I totally recommend anyone to buy this palette, it have beautiful colors and it's super complete for any looks from day to night time. It is sold for $59.00 (which it is totally worth it) at your local Sephora store. Here is what the palette looks like:

The palette comes with 20 lovely colors:

SMOKEOUT- a dark taupey-black satin
LOVESICK- a black matte w/iridescent micro-glitter
SHELLSHOCK- a bright metallic silver (one of my favorite!)

Not to mention... You see that little black button on the middle of front that has "Urban Decay" written on it? Well with a touch of that button, the case opens slowly to unveil the gorgeous shadows inside. Also the UD icon on the top of the palette is made out of gunmetal jewelry (seen on the first picture of this post). Comes with a huge full sized mirror. Also the palette is a beautiful orchid design making it delicate but edgy.
FUN FACT: Did you know no two palettes from Urban Decay are exactly alike-NEVER!

DYI EYELASH & EYEBROW HAIR GROWTH TREATMENT!

Lengthen your lashes at home! Bella's we have here a super easy way to have your eyelashes and your eyebrows grow without having to spend so much money! These serums could be bough anywhere but they are extremely expensive. Here is an easy way to get your dream lashes and fuller looking eyebrows for good!

What you need:

1.  1/4 Castor Oil
2. 1/2 Vatamin E Oil
3. 1/4 Aloe Vera gel
4. Container with a cover that has a small whole that you can open and close
5. Eye lash wand that can get inside the whole of the container

P.S- You can clean out an old mascara container and use it for this. (Make sure it's super clean and disinfect it)!


Wash an old mascara or nail polish container and fill with: 1/4 of the container with Castor Oil 1/2 Vitamin E Oil 1/4 Aloe Vera Gel Mix the concoction together as well as you can with your mascara wand, and apply a light layer to lashes (or brows!) every night before bed. Castor oil thickens your lashes while aloe vera gel lengthens. Vitamin E accelerates length. After one month, you’ll notice stronger, longer, more beautiful eyelashes

1/4 Castor Oil

1/2 Vitamin E Oil

1/4 Aloe Vera Gel

Hey Bella's! Today I am here to talk concealer....YES probably anyone's favorite makeup item ever! If anyone ever asked me which makeup item I would never be able to live without; hands down it's concealer. With concealer you can hide so many things: From dark circles, dark spots, redness, pimples to blemishes all over your face or body. This is the best creation ever and I totally own a lot of concealers because I have tired so many to finally find which ones didn't crease on my fine lines. This is my holy grail concealer. This is the one I use when I want a more full coverage. It's super lightweight formula makes skin look natural matte and stay put for up to 15 hours. The only down side about this is the pump. It pumps up too much product which makes me a little upset! But I fix that problem by using it under my eyes and also use the rest of it to cover all my blemishes so I don't waste it what-so-ever! The Mac Pro Longwear concealer is only $19.00 and will last you a long time. You can find it at your local MAC Cosmetics store.

This is the super heavy duty, highly pigmented, water resistant concealer. This is best for people that have a lot of blemishes. I use it on my acne clients. WHAT'S YOUR SKIN TYPE?

To all my Bella's that read my previous post of the top 5 foundations for oily skins and the top 5 foundations for dry skins; this will help you determine exactly what skin type you have. If you didn't read my previous posts please do and this current post will help you understand more about what type of skin you do have. Knowing your skin type will help in so many ways from buying the best moisturizes to the best foundations and concealers for your skin. For those of you  that are a little confused to what skin type you really do have this post will help you determine your skin type. Your skin type can change over time. Younger people are likely to have normal skin type then older people. Skin Types vary depending on the factors like: water content, oil (lipid) content, and sensitivity level. Water content helps with your skin's comfort and elasticity and oil content affects your skin's softness level.

There are 5 different skin types:

1. Oily Skin
2. Dry Skin
3. Combination Skin
4. Normal Skin
5. Sensitive skin

 Tips that will help your skin stay healthier no matter what skin type you have:

• Don't smoke (Of course!)
• Moisturize your skin (Day and night)
• Wash your skin thoroughly every day (Day and night)
• Never wear makeup to bed (This will clog up your pores!)
• Stay hydrated (Drink lots of water this will affect your skins comfort and elasticity!)
• Use sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB rays.
• Avoid direct sunlight and wear a hat and sunglasses. 

OILY SKIN TYPE

Oiliness on the skin can produce:

• Blackheads, pimples, or other blemishes
• Enlarged pores
• Dull or shiny, thick complexion

Having an oily skin can change from time to time during the weather change or time of year. Some things can cause you to have an oily skin such as:

• Stress
• Puberty
• The heat or humidity
• Touching your face with dirty hands frequently

Toning down your oily skin can be easy just follow these simple steps:

1. Wash your skin thoroughly every day (Twice a day- day and night)
2. Do not use a scrub! Use a more gentle cleanser (Scrubbing will make your skin worst)
3. Look for products that wont clog up your pores.
4. Do not pop, squeeze or pick on your pimples!
5. Carry blotting paper inside your bag. This will help you tone down the oils through out your day.

DRY SKIN TYPE 

Dry skin can produce:

• Flakiness
• Red patches or redness
• Shows more of the fine lines
• Pores appear more visible
• Rough or dull complection
• Has little elasticity due to lack of natural oils the skin produce 

When dry skin is exposed to anything that makes it worst the skin can peel, itch, crack, look irritated and even inflamed. Dry skin can be caused by:

• Aging
• Genetic
• Weather change (climate)
• UV radiation
• Long, hot showers
• Some cosmetics and cleansers
• Medication (anything new you are taking that you notice your skin too dry)

Things that will help you with your dry skin are:

1.  Use rich moisturizers after each bath (creams and ointments may be best)
2. Take less time on the shower
3. Use humidifier 
4. Leave the A/C on cooler settings
5. Do not scrub!
6. Use gentle cleansers

COMBINATION SKIN TYPES

Combination skin produces:

• Blackheads
• Blemishes
• Shiny skin
• Dilated pores

Combination skin types can be normal in some areas and oily or dry in other areas of the skin. The T-zone is the area that combination skin most appears. To help prevent some areas of the skin that are oilier or dryer you can take the steps to help you shown on the dry or oily skin types above.

NORMAL SKIN TYPES

Normal skin has:

• No sensitivity
• None of very few imperfections or blemishes
• Barely any pores
• A radiant complection

You are super lucky if you have this skin type. Although due to weather or climate changes you can get dryness or oiliness in some areas. Don't panic just follow the step to prevent or read about what causes these things to the skin above on the dry or oily skin types to help you.

SENSITIVE SKIN TYPES

Sensitive skin produces:

• Dryness
• Burning feeling
• Itching
• Redness
• Flakiness

Last but not least sensitive skin! If you have sensitive skin there is gotta be something you are doing differently that has caused this. If you find a cleaner that works for you stick to it because if you go jumping around on products you might lose money because you skin can only take so much. Find out what is triggering the sensitivity so you can avoid it. Usually having sensitive skin is in response to particular skin care products or cosmetics. Here is a quiz I found on real beauty website that you can play with to help you determine your skin type as well.

Hello my lovely Bellas! I know, I know... I have been absent from updating or posting on my blog lately. I highly apologize. As some of you may already know I have just bought my apartment meaning remolding and a big move. Some formulas have too much liquid and doesn't last you enough time and power foundations tend to clump up and clog your pores. LEMON and SUGAR FACE SCRUB for all skin types!

Hello Bellas, Once again I am here with an easy to make homemade beauty product! Everyone spends money on beauty products for the face or body. We never think of looking around the house to create a healthy beauty product for a very cheap price. We are just going to think  of the easiest way out, which is to go to the store and buy a brand name scrub or face wash that has been tested and maybe safer. This face scrub is super healthy and I recommend it to any skin type. It works wonders even for the body. This lemon and sugar scrub can be used on both the body and face. It is ideal for rough spots like feet, knees, elbows and hands. It’s also great for nail beds and cuticles. To use on the face, this scrub works wonderfully for those with acne-prone skin. But, of course, the entire body can benefit from a lemon and sugar exfoliation that leaves skin soft and insanely smooth. Indulge in this scrub from head to toe!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 1/2 fresh lemon
• 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
• 1 tbls of olive oil
• 1 tbls of organic honey
• 1 medium sized topper-ware bowl with lid

INSTRUCTIONS:
Add lemon juice and olive oil in to a bowl (I like to use tupperware as it is easy storage) until they mix together. Add the honey and wisk or stir quickly until the ingredients bind together into a medium thick consistency. You can add or subtract the amount of olive oil and honey that you use depending on how thick you want your scrub to be. I would keep the lemon to the juice of one half of a freshly cut lemon for every 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. Add in the sugar and mix. If you sense that there is not enough sugar to get the scrubbing done, add a bit more. Again, this is a personal preference.

As a face scrub: The lemon and sugar scrub is also great for the face, but use with gentle circular motions. This scrub is ideal for people who suffer from breakouts and acne as all of the ingredients are highly beneficial to acne prone skin. Lemon tightens pores and evens out the skin tone, sugar removes dead skin cells and cleans pores, olive oil heals acne scaring, and honey prevents future breakouts. To use, follow the same recipe instructions then apply to clean face in gentle, circular motions. Be cautious of using on open wounds as the lemon may sting. Leave on for 7-10 minutes and rinse with cool water.

As a body scrub: Apply to body, paying extra close attention to elbows, knees, feet and hands (nails and cuticles especially) and rub in circular motions for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse. Enjoy the silky softness of your impossibly smooth skin.

REVIEW on the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette!

First of all let me start by saying I'm super sorry for not writing on my beauty blog for so long. Good news is I have finally bought my own apartment and am currently remodeling it :). Super excited for the finished results! After all the remodeling is done I can finally start my YouTube channel filming for you guys. I know you guys have been begging me to start filming but I really didn't want to have a weird background and change backgrounds after I move soon so truly I want to have the perfect set including background for my YouTube channel tutorials for you guys to enjoy :). 

Today what I am reviewing for you guys is one of my favorite palettes on the face of the earth. The Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette. This palette has three sections that are very important to complete a perfect makeup look; from bronzer, to blush and highlight. Look at how amazing this palette looks:

URBAN DECAY FLUSHED PALETTE

SILKY- Bronzer, highlighter, and blush

Like the palette says "NAKED"...It's kind of being Naked with it's silky colors. It makes you face look more alive and well contoured with the bronzer; a natural rosy cheeks with it's blush making your face have it's natural blushed look and don't forget my favorite, the highlighter to pop your facial features and brighten up your look making you look more awake and alive. This palette will work with any skin tone, it just depends on how much you apply. For dark skin just apply 2 layers of more for a pop of color. This palette is super vibrant and I recommend it to anyone. You can also mix all the colors for a radiant glow. Also it has a perfect size mirror for on the go touch ups. My April Ipsy Glam Bag Review!

Hey it's that time again! Finally got my lovely April IPSY Glam bag called: "PRETTY IN PINK". This time everything is pink and that's one of my favorite colors so I can't complain right? Oatmeal and Yogurt Face Mask For All Skin Types!

Why spend money on face mask when you can do one at home? Simple easy and quick to make. This face masks is suitable for all skin types. This mask will cleanse and rejuvenate your skin! Here is how it works:

ALL YOU WILL NEED:

• 1 tbsp of oatmeal (finely ground)
• 1 tbsp of organic yogurt (not flavored)
• A few drops oh honey

PREPARATION:

1. Add the yogurt to the oatmeal in a small bowl and mix together. 
2. Warm a few drop of honey. To do this, warm a spoon under hot water for a minute, then add a few drops of honey to the spoon.  
3. Stir the honey into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture. 
4. Apply the mask to the face. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water. Follow with a warm washcloth. 
5. Apply moisturizer. 

PREP TIME: 3 minutes

FLOWER COSMETICS!!! New affordable Cosmetics Line by Drew Barrymore :)

Super excited for a new cosmetics line that has just launched from Drew Barrymore called "FLOWER COSMETICS"! I was walking at Wal-mart all of the sudden I see a beautiful collection of makeup on an end cap with popping colors! It caught my eye with it's beautiful containers and beautiful rose gold details. I bought a few items and can't wait to share their reviews with you! It took me about three weeks to really get the feel for the products and give you guys a great and accurate review with my opinions.
